Before looking for canine trainers out of state and having to travel long distances. I asked a friend of mine who is and Omaha Police Canine Officer for a recommendation for obedience training for a family dog that will be around my two young daughters. He highly recommended Akin with ABC Training Kennels. I took the time to research his website and found it very informational, helpful and clear to the capabilities that can be taught to a canine and his handler. After having a phone call conversation with Akin and getting to meet him in person, I had no doubt this is the person I wanted to train my dog Zeus and myself for the best obedience training experience. Akin is very compassionate and calm and caring about how to train and care for your dog. From food to training toys to just play toys. So your dog can experience the best life for itself. We did the Two-Week Board and Train option. Akin was awesome keeping us informed about Zeus’s training and sending videos of his training, from outdoors to inside retail store. It was great seeing Zeus retaining the information he was being taught. Watching the videos made us feel like he was a totally different dog still loving dog, but just well-behaved and trained. After Zeus’s training and being brought home, Akin wanted to spend two hours with my wife and I and our two daughters to train us in the proper ways to communicate with Zeus and continue his training. It was very informational and user friendly to learn the commands from Akin. I will definitely be using ABC Training Kennels for future higher level canine training for Zeus and any future dog that joins our family. If you are looking for obedience training for your canine stop looking, this is the place to do it. Five Star Experience. On a fun note, Akin trained Zeus all his commands in German. So the whole family learned something new also.
